Agree that many do take precautions. Many do not. I sold enterprise


security software to Fortune 500's and spending decisions are made on ROI and executive bonuses (hitting biz targets) in many cases. You can never insure 100% protection obviously but many businesses are very reluctant to spend the funds needed (expensive) to significantly increase security. DonHo....I'm sure you did everything possible but you might represent a small sample. Over the yrs, I have received notices from companies that allowed my data to be compromised. All I ever receive for THEIR ERROR is a one year subscription to a credit agency.
